Puerto Peñasco, commonly known as Rocky Point or "Arizona's Beach", is a picturesque resort town located in the northwest of the Mexican state of Sonora. Nestled along the shores of the Sea of Cortés, it is a popular destination for travelers seeking a taste of the sun and sand.

The Sonoran Sea Resort offers a variety of luxurious amenities for guests to enjoy, including three beachfront pools, two Jacuzzis, a swim-up bar, a kids' slide, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a pickleball court. The resort's onsite restaurant is a favorite among guests and is open daily (except Tuesdays) from 8 AM to 9 PM. Happy Hour is held every day from 2-6 PM, and a sumptuous Sunday breakfast buffet is available from 8 AM to 12 Noon. Policies

Sonoran Sea Rules and Regulations

The Sonoran Sea Resort is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable vacation experience for all of our guests. To ensure that everyone has a pleasant stay, we ask that you review and adhere to the following rules and regulations:

Eligibility:

- All reservation holders must be at least 25 years old and present a state-issued ID at check-in.

Behavior:

- The Sonoran Sea Resort has a zero tolerance policy for threatening or abusive behavior. Harassment or physical abuse of any kind is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the property.

- Offensive, intimidating, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. Violators will be subject to immediate removal from the resort.

Unit issues:

- If you notice any issues with your unit upon check-in, please notify the front desk within the first 20 minutes. This includes cleaning issues. If you are renting directly from an owner, please contact the unit owner with any issues.

- Please do not move or rearrange the furniture or remove any items from the condominium. Everything is inventoried, and any damages, breakages, missing items, or losses will be charged to you. Please report any noticeable damages immediately upon check-in.

Pool rules:

- Please do not move pool furniture from the pool areas. Glass containers are not allowed in pool areas for safety reasons.

Prohibited items and activities:

- Fireworks, firearms, and drugs are prohibited by Mexican law. Fireworks are also prohibited within 1 mile of the resort properties.

- Camping on the grounds or congregating in the parking lot is not allowed. It is also prohibited to have tents, chairs, towels, or to organize games on the grassy areas.

Noise:

- Please keep music and noise levels to a minimum after 9:45 PM to respect the tranquility of the resort.

Capacity:

- Each unit has a maximum capacity as follows:

- 3 bedrooms (6 persons)

- 2 bedrooms (4 persons)

- 1 bedroom (2 persons)

- Additional guests may be accommodated in a sofa sleeper, subject to an additional charge, for a maximum of 2 extra persons per unit.

Restrictions:

- No more than the allowed number of persons are permitted to stay in a rental unit.

- Sleeping inside vehicles is not allowed.

- BBQ grills are not allowed inside the condos or on the patios. BBQs have been provided for guests' use in designated areas.

- Please ensure that the safety bar is in place on the glass door and windows when leaving lower floor condos.

- Trash should not be left in hallways; please dispose of it in the designated trash areas next to the elevators.

Please return all room keys upon checkout to avoid a charge for a replacement key.

ATVs, RVs, trailers, jet skis, motorcycles, bikes, and sand rails must be parked in the designated area.

Amenities:

Only registered guests staying at the resort are allowed to use the common areas, such as the swimming pool and fitness center, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:45 PM. Guests' visitors are not permitted to use these areas.

Condo renters and owners are the only individuals allowed to use the amenities such as the pool and grills. Please wear the ID bracelet provided at check-in at all times while in the common areas to identify yourself to security personnel. If you are not wearing the ID bracelet, you will be asked to leave the property.

No pets are allowed.

The Sonoran Sea Resort and the administration are not responsible for items left in the condominiums. Please ensure that the units are locked.

The beach area is not under our direct responsibility. We are not responsible for articles forgotten or left in the beach area.

In case of an emergency after HOA office hours, please seek assistance at the guard gate.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the gym facilities. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the Jacuzzi areas.

Children must be under adult supervision at all times in the pool and Jacuzzi areas. There are no lifeguards on duty.

Hanging clothes or towels on terrace rails is prohibited.

Swimsuits are the only acceptable attire in the pools. Street clothes are not allowed in the pools or Jacuzzi.

Lost or damaged wristbands will incur a $20 USD charge.

This is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted in the common areas or inside the condos or balconies. Smoking is only allowed on the beach.

Please respect our security staff, as they are there to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

Pool rules are posted around the pool area. Please limit the use of the Jacuzzi to no more than 20 minutes to allow others to use it as well. The pool area should be quiet after 9:45 PM, when the pools close.

The use of the facilities is not allowed once check-out is complete.
